the relationships between that image and that 'certain something' are just ridiculous. Its to be expected that Microsoft have high-resolution versions of the UI. That shot was probably part of a dossier by the UI team during design.

Funny Kam would put this in his in his powerpoint as:
a) he is clearly in control of what is put in his powepoint
c) he had the nerve to said it wasnt coming (which i know is incorrect)
d) clearly sending a mixed signal to the vista community and everyone at winhec.
Kam Owned 06/18/06.

a.) those are all pictures public on the Vista website
b.) CLEARLY OLD, probably pre-5060 (it looks right around 5048 - see taskbar). Whether or not its NO is impossible to tell.
c.) true
d.) purely speculatory.

the aero theme in 5048 was very different than 5112, so i agree you can't tell
but the themes and glass in the 504x - 506x did look ugly

I must say that Apple provide high-res pictures of their UI in presentations and for media pics too. That really means absolutely nothing. Yes, that's a pic of a high res glass. Possibly it's a vector too. But it is most probably (I'd say definitely if I wanted to be lynched) a Photoshop picture. Nothing more. I'm tired of this being constantly brought out, mods please be more strict about this.
