Longhorn Personal Organiser has arrived, much changed since the 1st build many people would have seen as the UI has totally changed and has gone in the direction of the Athens concept. In this Beta 1 it has 5 tabs, "Home", "Notepad", "Explorer", "Calendar", "Support" all pretty self explanatory. The back forward buttons for now only work in the Explorer tab.
1 known bug is that Personalization Centre link on the Home tab doesn't go anywhere... for now ;)

Looking good. I noticed that you had a direct link to the wallpaper settings, bypassing the personalization center. I was wondering if you have the link to the "Window Color and Appearance" part of the vista's personalization center.

Thanks

Well on that particular app all the codeing was done by Tom Hounsell and the UI design by me so its best to talk to him about it.

Wow if this is C# it would sure integrate well with my Calendar that I am making. Basiclly my calendar allows you to add appointments/events and notes. It has great UI built to it. Currently I have it as Office 2007 style calendar (not the ribbions just the colors) and a WMP11 type toolbars with vista type buttons. I'll update this post with a screen.

BNS06: PM me if you are interested in combining my calendar program with your organizer. They could easily work together in such a way that you could ultimately have a home page type tab on the start of the app that tells you your current appointments and notes and todo lists. I know C# really well so I could help you along too.

I was hoping people would make suggestions. I did merge my calendar and boy does it look really nice. I'm working on the DWM rendering for people who use this in Vista. What my plan is, is to use the DWM for the top 80 pixles or whatever and then with this DLL I can disable blur or change things.

Once I do that it could very well look just like Jade/Athens for XP and DWM Jade style (glass top bar) for Vista.

Here is what the current build looks like for those who are interested:

UPDATE!

I got DWM working, and on Vista it is on by default but you can turn it off easily by pressing the DWM button. The calendar works for the most part but the appointments are lost upon close, that's what I'm working on now. So a new build is on the way for testing!
